'Bowie' is one of many Common boa constrictors currently residing here at Proteus. He is a handsome chap who is frequently seen out basking or resting on his favourite branch.

Bowie came to us with part of his spine fused, this has been checked over by a vet and confirmed to be an old fracture. He cannot move this section of his spine well, but overall his movement doesn't seem hindered. There is potential for Osteoarthritis occurring in later life which will need to be taken in consideration by any potential forever home.
