Order Fulfilment

The products shown on this site are fulfilled by Inkthreadable Limited who are a third party 'print on demand' company based in the UK. When we use the term "our fulfilment partner" we specifically mean Inkthreadable Limited.

 

When you place an order with us, your name, address and contact details are shared with our fulfilment partner in order for them to manufacture and deliver your order. Please refer to their own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy here for more details about how they store and use this information.

Pricing

All prices are in £ sterling, inclusive of VAT. Any exceptions will be clearly marked on the website where relevant. Prices may be subject to change without notice, but we will only alter the price after we have confirmed your order, if is to your benefit.

Payment

We accept all major credit cards and payment is processed using Wix Payments.

​

International Orders

Whilst this website is designed with UK customers in mind, we welcome enquiries from customers in other countries. Prices include UK Sales Tax (VAT), currently at 20%, which may not be payable by foreign customers; however, additional delivery charges will usually apply. Please get in touch if you need help with your order.

Order processing

An order will not be processed until it has been paid in full. Orders are processed from the date and time of payment received, not the date and time it was placed. Our fulfilment partner's processing cut-off time is 1pm GMT, and all orders paid for after this time will be processed the next working day. 

Production turnaround time is 3 to 5 working days. A working day starts at 9am and ends at 5pm, Monday to Friday. UK Bank Holidays are not included as a working day. This turnaround time is not to be taken as a guarantee of production times and should be taken as an estimate. No compensation will be offered for any orders that fall outside of this production estimate.

Please note, Proteus Reptile Trust holds some standard products such as mugs and logo t-shirts on site at our re-homing centre, so if you're in a hurry for a particular item, it's always worth sending us an e-mail to check our current stock.

Delivery

All prices exclude delivery and our fulfilment partner ships worldwide.

Deliveries in the UK mainland are contracted to outside carriers who deliver Mondays to Fridays (excluding public holidays) between the hours of 8:30 AM and 5:30 PM.

A special, or next-day delivery service does not guarantee that you will receive your item the day after placing the order, however does guarantee that you will receive the item the following working day after it has been dispatched.

​

Some deliveries must be signed for and you should keep your receipt. If goods are showing obvious signs of damage in transit upon receipt, please refuse to accept the delivery.

​

No compensation will be offered for any orders that take longer than the quoted times to be delivered. These quotes are based on estimates from couriers and as such, they should not be taken as a guarantee of delivery. 

​

All missing parcels must be reported to Proteus Reptile Trust within 60 days of shipment to be eligible for a refund or replacement. If a shipping address is inaccurate or incomplete, the order will not be eligible for a refund or replacement.

If an order is reported as missing after 60 days of shipment, the tracking will no longer be available to investigate with the courier, and the order will not be eligible for refund or replacement.

Product availability

Items shown on this website may not always be in stock. If any of your chosen items is not in stock, you will be advised of a best estimate of availability and delivery date at the time you place your order. Please note that an indication of such dates is an estimate only, may be subject to change without notice, and does not constitute a contractual obligation by our fulfilment partner or Proteus Reptile Trust to supply goods by a certain date. However, if availability is unduly delayed, we will use our best endeavours to keep you informed.

Product images and descriptions

Please note that the colour of images shown on this website may be affected by the technology used to access it. Whilst our fulfilment partner does their best to faithfully reproduce colours, some variation may occur.

Product descriptions are taken from our fulfilment partner and are, to the best of our knowledge, as accurate as possible. We occasionally check with suppliers to make sure our descriptions are accurate, but cannot guarantee that all product descriptions are accurate at all times. If you are in doubt, or have any questions about product descriptions, please contact us for clarification before purchasing a product.

Cancellations

Proteus Reptile Trust cannot cancel your order without the agreement of our fulfilment partner and cannot be held responsible for their decision. If you need to cancel your order please send us an e-mail within 24 hours of placing your order and we will contact our fulfilment partner to see if they can offer a cancellation. (If your product, print, or any other embellishments are defective in any way, please refer to our Faulty Goods policy below).

Occasionally we may need to contact you about your order so please make sure the email address you have registered with is monitored. If we do not receive any response from you regarding the order after a two week period we will cancel it and refund to the original payment method. If you have ordered multiple products we will process, print and pack as normal - only the products we are contacting you about will be cancelled and refunded, the rest will be shipped after the two week period.

Our cancellations policy does not affect your Statutory Rights. If we're not able to cancel your order, we can refund it instead, please see our refund policy below.

Refunds & Exchanges

If you decide you no longer want an item, we can offer you a refund, but as a small charity we are not able to cover the cost of you returning the item to us. You will need to make arrangements for the item to be returned to us yourself. We will refund the cost of the items purchased and the delivery fee. Please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order to organise a refund, giving us your order number and details of the products you'd like to return. After you have notified us, you will need to send us your returned items within 14 days of the notification. Contact us to discuss items you'd like to return.

 

If you've ordered the wrong size or colour then we're happy to exchange it for a different size, but you will be responsible for covering the cost of returning the item to us and for paying the postage cost of the replacement item being sent out. If you're unsure of what size to buy, please get in touch and we can advise you.

Transit damage

All goods are examined in detail by our fulfilment partner prior to despatch to ensure that they leave their warehouse in perfect condition. However, transit damage unfortunately can occur. If your purchase is showing obvious signs of transit damage upon delivery, please refuse to accept delivery and notify Proteus Reptile Trust immediately. If damage is only evident upon opening of packaging, then you must inform us within 48 hours of receipt. In either case, our fulfilment partner will then arrange re-delivery of replacement goods as soon as possible.

Faulty goods

If your goods develop a fault within 28 days of delivery (including goods delivered with a print or manufacturing fault), the goods may be returned for either refund in full, or replacement. Replacement only is offered after 28 days and before 12 months.

​

In all queries relating to faulty goods we require customers provide photographic evidence so we can investigate the issue. Once a photo has been received we will send it to our fulfilment partner for them to investigate and decide whether to accept or reject your claim of a fault. Please note that they judge faults based on a tolerance of up to 2.5cm / 1 inch for print positioning and garment manufacture. These promises do not apply to faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse.

Due to variations during the manufacturing process, or differences in size between garment size variants, our fulfilment partner cannot guarantee that the print design will be printed to the size shown in our product images. Typical examples of this are smaller variants of women's t-shirts, where the product is not long enough to accept a 32 x 50cm print. In this situation our fulfilment partner will reduce the print size by up to 15% to achieve a print that fits on the garment. This may result in the physical product not matching the mockup, but this will not be considered as faulty and no full refund or replacement will be offered unless a genuine fault with the print or garment is present.
