Join our team
We're a friendly bunch here at Proteus Reptile trust and we really value the amazing work that our volunteers do to support reptile rescue. Without our multi-talented volunteer team we wouldn't be able to change the lives of all our lovely snakes, beardies and tortoises!
We are always on the lookout for new team members who have the skills, knowledge, or joyful enthusiasm to get things done. You can see our latest roles advertised below, click through to find out more.
Marketing and Admin
Are you a social media whizz? or someone who gets super excited about organising paperwork? Maybe you could help us distribute and collect our charity collection tins in the local area?
If you're interested in an office based role and think you have the skills we need (or are happy to learn!) then fill in our volunteer form below and we'll be in touch for a chat.
Maintenance
Do you love fixing stuff? Are you a DIY ninja? Maybe you enjoy working with your hands and would like to use your skills to help a charity?
We regularly need help with general maintenance work as well as cleaning and keeping everything tidy. If you'd like to join our maintenance team, send us a message and we'll be in touch soon.
Animal Care
Would you like to bath a bearded dragon? Or make a green iguana a salad for lunch? Would you enjoy cleaning out vivariums and making our animals extra cosy?
Hoovering and cleaning, as well as feeding the reptiles are all things we would love help with. If you have a few spare hours a week then get in touch!
